Healthcare Workers

Health care workers today are encountering challenges that many did not anticipate when they entered their professions. The stress and anxiety of caring for patients in life-and-death situations are compounded by long hours and less than ideal conditions in the hospital and clinic settings.

In order to maintain well-being and be most effective in offering care, it is important to prioritize self care. There are many tools available to reduce stress, calm the mind, and enhance a sense of well being even amidst the current challenges of our healthcare system.

In private and/or group sessions with Nina, you will have the opportunity to express yourself in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Choosing from a variety of methodologies including meditation/mindfulness, relaxation, guided visualization, movement, and personal narrative, Nina designs each session according to your individual needs.

Your capacity to provide good care is enhanced when you feel refreshed, less overwhelmed and have ways to self-regulate in a high-stress environment.

Nina joined our hospitalist group to help us find calm after the stress and chaos of the pandemic. She guided us through practices that allowed us to connect to each other in new ways, have fun, and re-balance our minds and bodies after over a year of suppressing our distress signals. In one-on-one sessions, she fielded our personal and professional dilemmas and crafted personalized mindfulness, physical and narrative exercises to expand our understanding of ourselves and our problems in ways that generated new insights and possibilities. This left us feeling refreshed, empowered, connected, and clamoring for more. Nina is truly a gifted and skilled healer.
